Emerald Ocean for VS Code

A dark theme coloured like the ocean when green beats blue: a green-black base taken from a breaking emerald wave, emerald functions, kelp-green keywords, sea-glass types, and a white-blue bioluminescent glow that only appears where you are working (cursor, current search match, matching bracket, references).

The colours come from emerald-ocean/palette and match emerald-ocean.nvim.

Install

From a packaged extension:

code --install-extension emerald-ocean-0.1.0.vsix

Then pick Emerald Ocean under Preferences: Color Theme.

Semantic highlighting

The theme enables semantic highlighting, so language servers that provide semantic tokens (gopls, TypeScript, rust-analyzer) colour type definitions, struct fields, parameters and constants the same way as the Neovim theme.
