Sentra is the new agentic stack from Dodo Payments, an IDE-first assistant that integrates billing and payments into your app. Just describe what you want to build, approve the plan, and Sentra handles the implementation.

Note: Sentra is currently in Beta. Features, APIs, and integrations may change rapidly. We welcome feedback and bug reports as we iterate!

Getting Started

Prerequisites

1. Get Dodo Payments API Key from the dashboard.
2. Pick Live / Test Mode then start building.

What is Sentra?

Sentra is the fourth stack from Dodo Payments, adding an agentic interface on top of existing Payments, Billing, and Distribution capabilities. It brings the future of agentic development to billing & payments - where billing integration won't be coded through, but prompted into existence.

How It Works

Inside your IDE:

1. Prompt – "Add usage-based billing with a free trial for my Pro plan"
2. Plan – Sentra generates the implementation (components, hooks, config, backend logic)
3. Review – You see exactly what code and changes will be made
4. Approve – Sentra applies the changes, updates your app, and tests integration
5. Ship – Your billing is live and ready

Every action is guardrailed, auditable, and reversible where possible.
