Themis VSCode Extension

VSCode extension for interacting with Themis, the automated programming judge used at the University of Groningen and Vrije Universiteit. Submit code, check results, and manage assignments without leaving your editor.

What is Themis?

Themis is an automated judge developed by the Digital Lab at the University of Groningen. It compiles and runs submitted code inside isolated containers, then grades output against reference solutions.

  • Sidebar panel for browsing Themis assignments inside VSCode.
  • Submit your work to Themis without leaving the editor.
  • Check submission status and results inline.

Prerequisites

  • VSCode (might work on older versions, but always ensure latest version)
  • Active Themis account (requires valid university credentials)

Installation

Install from the VS Code Marketplace (search for "Themis"), or download the .vsix from the GitLab releases and install via Extensions: Install from VSIX....
