DevShot — code to image

Select code → Ctrl+Alt+S (Cmd+Alt+S on Mac) → get a beautiful, syntax-highlighted image. Copy it straight into Jira, Confluence, Slack, or your team wiki.

Rendering is done by devshot.dev — the same engine behind the DevShot API.

Usage

  1. Select some code in the editor
  2. Press Ctrl+Alt+S (or right-click → DevShot: Snap selection as image)
  3. The image opens in a side panel and is copied to your clipboard — paste it anywhere

Works out of the box with no account (images get a small devshot.dev watermark). Add your API key in settings (devshot.apiKey) to remove the watermark — plans start free at devshot.dev.

Privacy

Selected code is sent over HTTPS to the DevShot API to render the image and is stored only in the render cache. Don't snap secrets.
