Privacy

DevLoot is designed to measure sponsored line delivery, not inspect your work. Standard telemetry does not include source code, file contents, file names, project structure, prompts, AI responses, chat history, terminal commands, editor contents, or browsing activity outside DevLoot pages and sponsored-line click redirects.

The extension stores a local install identifier and account-linking state. It sends bounded evidence for server-issued Ad Opportunities, including event IDs, opportunity IDs, surface names, timestamps, visible time, extension version, host version, session IDs, diagnostic reasons, and click redirect activity.

Optional IDE and CLI integration commands may read and write known local editor or CLI configuration files and create local backups so DevLoot-managed changes can be restored.

Read the full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Configuration

Most users should keep the hosted defaults:

{
  "devloot.apiBaseUrl": "https://api.devloot.ai",
  "devloot.webBaseUrl": "https://devloot.ai"
}

For local development, point these settings at your local API and web app.
