Permissions And Online Services

DevCoreAI is an AI coding agent, so it can request permission to read workspace files, propose edits, run terminal commands, open browser tooling, call MCP tools, and connect to configured AI providers. Destructive actions and terminal execution are controlled by DevCoreAI approvals, safety settings, and workspace policies.

DevCoreAI can connect to online services for authentication, billing and usage status, release metadata, model routing, and optional telemetry or error reporting. Telemetry is optional, can be disabled from DevCoreAI Settings, and respects the host editor telemetry setting. If VS Code telemetry is off, DevCoreAI extension telemetry is not sent.
