Millenials had AIM. Finance people have Bloomberg IM. Now, developers have devchat.

Keep in touch with your developer friends at the desk next to you, in the office across Market Street, or from a coffee shop across the country.

Only talk when you're both online. Your messages are only stored locally, for a day. Enjoy!

Features

• Live chat: Only message when people are online
• Ephemeral Messages: No server-side message storage - chat history is local only, and cleared daily
• Friends: Find your friends by username
• Manage visibility: Hide notifications or make your status away for focus time

Getting Started

1. Set a username (globally unique) to sign up
2. Optionally, set up a recovery email address for changing your password
3. TELL YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT IT!!!! And give them your username and add each other!!
4. When you're both online, you can chat. Message history is kept locally for only 2 days
