Find Filename References

A VS Code extension that searches your workspace for all references to a specific filename.

Usage

There are three ways to use this extension:

  1. Command Palette: Open a file, then run Find Filename References from the command palette (Cmd+Shift+P)
  2. Explorer Context Menu: Right-click any file in the explorer sidebar and select Find Filename References
  3. Tab Context Menu: Right-click any editor tab and select Find Filename References

The extension opens VS Code's built-in search panel with the filename as the query.

Remote Development

This extension works in remote environments including Dev Containers and SSH sessions.
