Sidebar with every Salesforce org authorized in the sf CLI: one click logs you in (sf org open). Folders, drag-and-drop, custom names, hide orgs, Chrome incognito, open Setup.
Installation
Launch VS Code Quick Open (Ctrl+P), paste the following command, and press enter.
A sidebar with every Salesforce org you have authorized in the Salesforce CLI. Click an org and you are logged in to it in the browser (sf org open). No passwords, no copying usernames.
Orgs authorized in it, for example sf org login web --alias acme_dev. The panel lists exactly what sf org list shows.
Features
One-click login. Click an org to open it. Right-click it for Open Setup or Open in Chrome Incognito, which is handy for testing as a second user.
Grouping. Orgs are grouped by alias prefix: acme_dev, acme_uat and acme_prod go under acme. Production orgs are marked PROD with a red icon. Orgs whose CLI session expired show a warning icon.
Folders. Create your own folders and drag orgs into them. You can select several with Ctrl/Shift. Drag a folder onto another folder to reorder.
Order. Use the ↑ ↓ arrows on a row, Move Up / Move Down, or Alt+↑ / Alt+↓. Dropping an org onto another org also puts it right before that org.
Names.Rename (this panel only) gives an org a friendlier name. The sf alias is not changed.
Hide.Hide removes an org from the panel without logging it out of the CLI. The eye button shows hidden orgs again.
Quick pick. From the command palette, Salesforce Orgs: Open Org… opens any org by typing part of its name.
Hiding, names, folders and order are stored in your VS Code user settings, keyed by username. The Salesforce CLI and its connections are never modified.

Windows. The extension runs the CLI's own node.exe + run.js, because spawning sf.cmd from Node fails when the install path contains spaces.
Chrome incognito. The CLI cannot combine --browser with --private. For this option the extension asks the CLI for the login URL (sf org open --url-only) and starts Chrome with --incognito. The URL contains a session and is never logged.
