Callipso

Voice-first terminal automation for VS Code, Cursor, and Windsurf.

Route voice commands to any terminal by name. Say "fix the login bug, please terminal two" and the text lands in terminal 2 — no hotkeys, no window switching.

What it does

This extension connects your IDE terminals to the Callipso overlay app, enabling:

  • Voice-to-terminal routing — speak naturally, name the destination inline
  • Real-time terminal tracking — see all terminals across all IDEs in one overlay
  • Remote terminal control — create, focus, close, and send text to terminals
  • Claude Code integration — session timers, task tracking, reformulation display
  • 3D codebase visualization — watch AI agents navigate your files in real time

Requirements

  • Callipso desktop app (macOS)
  • VS Code 1.85+, Cursor, Windsurf, or Antigravity

How it works

The extension runs an HTTP server inside your IDE that the Callipso overlay discovers automatically via mDNS, discovery files, or direct registration. No configuration needed — install and go.

Getting started

  1. Install the Callipso desktop app from callipso.dev
  2. Install this extension
  3. Open a terminal in your IDE — it appears in the Callipso overlay instantly
