Recommended Setup

For the best experience, we recommend:

1. Icon Theme: Set your icon theme to Craft Icons (included in this package).
2. Font: Use GNU Unifont as your editor font for the ultimate pixelated aesthetic.
3. macOS Font Patch: Since macOS often fails to recognize standard GNU Unifont as monospaced, we provide a patched version (Unifont-Mono-Patched) that resolves this issue and ensures perfect alignment across all macOS applications.

Usage

1. Open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P or Cmd+Shift+P).
2. Type Color Theme and select your favorite Craft variant.
3. Type File Icon Theme and select Craft Icons.

Craft Icons

Craft Theme includes two complementary icon sets: Craft Icons (3D style) and Craft Flat Icons (flat style). Both pull their palette and motifs from Minecraft—grass, dirt, stone, lava—but they play those ideas differently.

• Craft Icons — 3D style: Pixel-forward with highlights, shadows, and a sense of volume that echoes Minecraft’s voxel charm. Ideal when you want icons with personality and a tactile, nostalgic feel.
• Craft Flat Icons — Flat style: Clean geometry and high-contrast colors optimized for legibility at tiny sizes and in busy UIs. It trades ornament for clarity and modern polish.

Both sets prioritize recognizability over literal replication of game assets, so icons remain intuitive at a glance. Choose the 3D set for atmosphere and character, or the flat set for clarity and minimalism.
