httpslash

httpslash is a Visual Studio Code extension that adds a built‑in HTTP client to the editor. It lets you compose, send and store HTTP requests without leaving VS Code. The extension provides both a sidebar for browsing history and collections, and a panel for editing requests. Data is persisted locally using VS Code's Memento storage APIs.

Features

  • Sidebar view showing history and collections of requests
  • Floating panel for creating, sending and inspecting HTTP requests
  • Commands for creating/opening requests and syncing state between views
  • Local persistence of environments, collections and history
  • Assets (styles, icons) are included automatically during build

Extension Settings

This extension currently does not contribute any custom settings.
