Celebrate your coding victories with a burst of virtual confetti as you type!

Features

Confetti Coder brings a touch of celebration to your coding sessions:

  • Automatic Confetti: Watch confetti burst across your screen as you type, adding a fun and motivating element to your coding experience.
  • Customizable Celebration: Use the Celebration Playground to adjust confetti settings, including particle count, spread, colors, shapes, and origins.
  • On-Demand Celebration: Trigger a confetti burst whenever you want with a simple command.

Installation

  1. Open Visual Studio Code
  2. Go to the Extensions view (Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X on macOS)
  3. Search for "Confetti Coder"
  4. Click Install

Usage

After installation, Confetti Coder will automatically celebrate your coding progress by showing confetti as you type. You can also use the following commands:

  • Show Celebration Playground: Open a panel to customize your confetti settings.
  • Show Confetti Display: Open a dedicated panel for displaying confetti.
  • Trigger Celebration!: Manually trigger a confetti burst.

To access these commands, open the Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P or Cmd+Shift+P on macOS) and type "Confetti Coder".

Customization

Open the Celebration Playground to adjust your confetti settings:

  • Particle Count: Control how many confetti pieces appear in each burst.
  • Spread: Adjust how wide the confetti spreads.
  • Colors: Customize the colors of your confetti.
  • Shapes: Choose from squares, circles, and stars.
  • Origins: Select where the confetti originates from on the screen.

Requirements

Confetti Coder requires Visual Studio Code version 1.93.0 or higher.
