Simple Code CFG Visualizer

Syntax highlighting and interactive Control Flow Graph (CFG) visualization for the Simple (S) programming language in Visual Studio Code.

Usage

1. Open a .slang or .simple source file.
2. Click Show CFG in the editor title bar, or run Simple: Show CFG from the Command Palette.
3. The extension generates the control flow graph and opens it in a separate editor tab.
4. Use the buttons in the graph viewer to download SVG or DOT output.

Language Support

The extension registers the s-language language ID and associates it with:

• .slang
• .simple

Requirements

• Visual Studio Code version 1.125.0 or newer.

Known Limitations

• CFG generation is available only on supported Windows and Linux architectures listed above.
• Large graphs may take noticeable time to generate and render.
