This Extension helps you in understanding .unity and .prefab files. Note, that you should not edit these files by hand. The main purpose of this extension is to better understand, whats happening, when dealing with git changes.

Shows CodeLense annotations for "fileID:" fields in .unity and .prefab files to show what this obscure number means. When clicking on an annotation, the corresponding line will show up.
