Opens a command prompt window from the folder that the currently opened file is in.

Features

  • Quickly open a command prompt window in the folder of the active file.
  • Default keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+C (Windows).

Usage

  1. Open a file in Visual Studio Code.
  2. Use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Alt+C on Windows and Linux (or Cmd+Alt+C for Mac) to open a command prompt window in the file's folder.

Requirements

  • Visual Studio Code version 1.84.0 or higher.
  • Windows, Mac, or Linux OS.
