Commands

Command Description
Promptmkr: Open Companion Open the panel
Promptmkr: Grade selection Grade selected text (also available via right-click)
Promptmkr: Improve selection Improve selected text (also available via right-click)

Refine options

After improving a prompt, you can further refine it:

  • Add more logic — adds decision criteria, ranking rules, and rejection criteria
  • Simplify — compresses the prompt without losing structure or grade
  • Shorten safely — reduces length while keeping every grade-worthy signal intact

Powered by Promptmkr

Grading and improvement are powered by Promptmkr — an AI prompt scoring and improvement tool. The panel connects to the Promptmkr API; an internet connection is required.

Privacy

Prompts are sent to the Promptmkr API for grading and improvement. No prompts are stored or logged. See promptmkr.com/privacy for details.
