Bitlyne IDE
Visual Studio Code extension for the Bitlyne agent. It develops a marketplace package, a web app, and a mobile app in the open folder. Sync refreshes the local reference library of shipped packages, versions, skills, and authoring docs.
The editor is VS Code. This extension adds the Bitlyne agent sidebar. The agent process listens at http://127.0.0.1:8789 (bitlyne.agentUrl).
Use
- Start the builder agent (
node server.mjs in bitlyne-builder-agent).
- Open the project folder in VS Code. Generated files are written under
package/, client-web/, and client-rn/.
- Open the Bitlyne icon in the activity bar.
- Click Sync to copy the latest packages, versions, and docs into
~/.bitlyne/ide/library.
- Describe the app and press Enter. Shift+Enter adds a line.
Set bitlyne.orgId, bitlyne.orgName, and bitlyne.userKey so chats are saved for that user and org.
Install from a VSIX
cd newpfui/bitlyne-ide
npm install
npm run package
code --install-extension bitlyne-ide-0.1.0.vsix
Publish to the VS Code Marketplace
Publishing uses a publisher you create at Visual Studio Marketplace. The publisher field in package.json must match that id (bitlyne).
- Create the publisher.
- Create an Azure DevOps personal access token with the Marketplace (Manage) scope.
- From this folder:
npx @vscode/vsce login bitlyne
npx @vscode/vsce publish
Or set VSCE_PAT and run npx @vscode/vsce publish. The same VSIX installs on Windows and Mac.
