This VS Code extension is the official connection method between the AgentHaven website and a user's own GitHub Codespace.
Install once
Download agenthaven-vscode.vsix from the AgentHaven Codespaces page.
In VS Code, open Extensions, choose Install from VSIX… from the Extensions menu, and select the downloaded file.
Reopen the Codespace if VS Code requests it.
Pair a Codespace
Sign in to AgentHaven and create a one-time pairing code on the Codespaces page.
In the Codespace, open the Command Palette and run AgentHaven: Connect Codespace.
Paste the pairing code. The extension downloads and starts the connector in the Codespace; no forwarded port, GitHub token, or terminal command is required.
When the VS Code status bar says AgentHaven: Connected, use the AgentHaven website's terminal.
The default site is https://agent-haven.replit.app. If AgentHaven later uses a verified custom domain, set it once in the agenthaven.serverUrl VS Code setting.
Permissions and privacy
The connector runs in the selected Codespace as its current Linux user. It can access that user's workspace and execute terminal commands with that user's permissions. It does not grant root access or GitHub-account-wide permissions by itself. Pair only a Codespace you own and trust.
Terminal input and output pass through the AgentHaven server over TLS. The server can see terminal content in memory. Do not treat this relay as end-to-end encrypted.
The Codespace is user-owned and may consume GitHub quota or incur GitHub charges independently of AgentHaven.
