SnapCode — Paste Code from Image

Instantly extract code from any screenshot and paste it directly into VS Code using AI.

How to Use

  1. Open any file in VS Code
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+P (or Cmd+Shift+P on Mac)
  3. Type SnapCode and select "SnapCode: Paste Code from Image"
  4. On first use, enter your Anthropic API key (free at console.anthropic.com)
  5. Select your screenshot or photo
  6. Code is pasted at your cursor instantly

Getting an API Key

  1. Go to console.anthropic.com
  2. Sign up for free
  3. Click "API Keys" → "Create Key"
