AI Rewriting
Select any text in a markdown file, right-click, and choose from the Rewrite with AI submenu:

- Make Professional - Formal, professional tone
- Custom Prompt - Enter your own rewriting instruction
LLM Provider Configuration
The extension automatically detects available LLM providers:
- VS Code Language Model API - Works with GitHub Copilot and compatible extensions
- Direct API - Configure your own Anthropic (Claude) or OpenAI API key in settings
Set your preferred provider in Settings > Markdown Viewer Enhanced > LLM.

Commands
Open the Command Palette (Cmd+Shift+P / Ctrl+Shift+P) and search for "Markdown Viewer":
- Open Preview - Preview in current column
- Open Preview to the Side - Preview in adjacent column
- Insert Frontmatter Template - Add YAML frontmatter
- Insert Table - Add a markdown table
- Insert Code Block - Add a fenced code block
- Insert Link / Insert Image - Add markdown links or images
