🔍 How AI Detection Works

Tracklytics uses multiple signals to detect AI-assisted coding:

  1. Extension detection - Checks for active AI extensions (Copilot, Cody, TabNine, etc.)
  2. Chat panel detection - Detects when AI chat panels are open
  3. Bulk change detection - Identifies large multi-line insertions typical of AI
  4. Manual override - You can manually start/end AI sessions
