iSpell — Integration Migration Toolkit

iSpell is a VS Code extension that provides a powerful toolkit for migrating integrations between different systems (e.g., Apigee, MuleSoft, Boomi, WebMethods). It helps teams analyse, transform, and generate migration artifacts directly from the editor.

• Platform Analysis — Scan and analyse your existing integration platform components.
• AI-Powered Migration — Leverage AWS Bedrock agents to intelligently transform components to the target platform schema.
• Design File Generation — Automatically generate MuleSoft, Boomi, and other platform-specific design files.
• Executive Reports — Produce detailed Excel-based migration reports with charts and cost estimates.
• S3 Integration — Fetch and upload migration artifacts directly to/from AWS S3.
• Component Details View — Browse component-level details, dependency mappings, and migration status from within VS Code.

Requirements

• Node.js v18 or later
• AWS credentials configured (for S3 and Bedrock access)
• An active AWS account with access to:
  • Amazon S3
  • Amazon Bedrock (Claude model)
• Internet access for fetching dependency mapping sheets

Extension Settings

This extension does not contribute custom VS Code settings at this time. Configuration is managed via AWS environment variables or credentials file.

Known Issues

• Large component sets may increase Bedrock agent response times.
• SQLite dependencies require platform-native binaries; rebuild may be required on first install.
