Pixel Code Kitty 🐱

A pastel pixel cat that lives in your VS Code sidebar and cheers you on while you code!

What it does

• Greets you when you open a file, in any language
• Spots errors while you type and tells you which line to check
• Celebrates when your code compiles or runs successfully 🎉
• Encourages you when something breaks, because bugs happen to everyone ♡
• Reminds you to take water breaks and sleep when it's late 🌙
• Makes cute faces: happy, heart eyes, wink, thinking, surprised, and sleepy

How to use

After installing, find Code Buddy in the Explorer sidebar. It also shows short messages in the status bar at the bottom right.

Notes

• Live error spotting uses VS Code's language extensions (for example Python, C/C++, or Java). Install the one for your language.
• For C and C++, the kitty compiles your code on save, so gcc / g++ must be installed and on your PATH.
