Visual Development

jBart suggests a refreshing approach for visual development of complex apps, powerfull enough that jBart studio was developed by itself. jBart may assist in building rich material design components, puppeteer scripts and data harvesting, d3 charts, and complex rxjs/callbag flows

open in vscode

goto sample project https://github.com/ArtwareSoft/jbart-template and fork it

git clone your forked project

goto your "projects" directory (or any place not inside a git project...)

• >git clone https://github.com/YOUR-USERNAME/jbart-template.git
• >cd jbart-template
• >npm install
• restart vscode
• in vscode >File->Add Folder to Wordkspace... select jbart-template
• goto file itemlists/itemlists.js line 10
• click Ctrl-Shift-j to open jBart

Optional: visual puppeteer scripts (alpha)

To visually build puppeteer scripts you need to install and run puppeteer server. In your "projects" directory

• >git clone https://github.com/ArtwareSoft/jb-puppeteer-server.git
• >cd jb-puppeteer-server
• >npm install
• >npm start

Visual Development Concepts

• coding is not forbeeden - inside vscode, your javascript code is available for read/write via both the text editor and our studio
• integrated mini-studios for different developments scenarios: ui development, data binding, parsing, reactive, browser activation, etc. (all self written in jBart)
