Is it free?

Yes! Groq offers a generous free tier that's plenty for personal use. OpenRouter also has free models available.

Is my code sent to the cloud?

Yes, your selected code is sent to the AI provider (Groq or OpenRouter) for analysis. Only the code you explicitly select is sent — never your entire codebase. Your API keys are stored securely using VS Code's built-in secrets storage.

Which languages are supported?

All of them! If VS Code supports it, SyntaxSensei can review it. JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, C++, you name it.

Can I use my own API keys?

Absolutely. Bring your own Groq or OpenRouter API key. We never see or store your keys on our side.
