More Info

Neuromancer

A VS Code dark theme forked from SynthWave x Fluoromachine. More glow, no italics, and a built-in colour picker.

Requirements

Neuromancer uses CSS that VS Code's built-in theme system can't express — gradient cursors, neon text-shadows, animated grid lines. It requires the Custom CSS and JS Loader extension to apply these styles.

Installation

  1. Install Neuromancer from the Extension Marketplace
  2. Install Custom CSS and JS Loader
  3. Open the Command Palette and run Neuromancer: Install
  4. Open the Command Palette, select Preferences: Color Theme, and choose Neuromancer

After VS Code updates the custom CSS is wiped. Re-run Reload Custom CSS and JS from the Command Palette to restore it.

Colour Picker

Neuromancer Colour Picker;

Run Neuromancer: Customize Theme Colors from the Command Palette to open the palette editor. Adjust any of the colours, then click Save. The extension writes your overrides and prompts a reload.
