A user-friendly, high-performance interface for git repositories in VS Code.
What it adds
Changes in the SoftGit side bar: every changed file with a checkbox to stage it, a commit
box with amend and squash, and the native diff editor one click away.
Repositories: every repository in the workspace with its branch and live status, however
many there are.
Branches and a commit graph in the Git panel, with checkout, merge, rebase, push, pull and
worktrees from the branch menus.
Compare any branch or commit with another, and cherry-pick or reset (soft, mixed,
hard or keep, with undo) from the log.
Blame in the editor, with a trail you can walk back and forward through older versions, and
history for a file, a selection or a single line.
SoftGit runs the git command line you already have installed and works alongside VS Code's
built-in Git support.
