AdamAI's coding assistant, inside VS Code — by AdamDeBest Corp.
Click the AdamAI logo in the activity bar, then Sign in to AdamAI. Your browser opens, you approve once, and you're back in the editor — no keys to copy. (In a remote or web editor, use AdamAI: Sign in with an API token instead.)
What it does
Chat in the AdamAI panel — with your selection, the whole file, or just the question. Your conversation is kept per workspace; pick the model at the top.
Edit with AdamAI… (Ctrl+Alt+E): describe a change; AdamAI writes it and you review the diff before anything is applied.
Fix with AdamAI in the light-bulb menu on any error or warning.
Right-click → AdamAI: Explain, Fix, Simplify and optimise, Add documentation comments, Write tests, Review this file, Ask about this file.
Commit messages: the AdamAI button in Source Control writes one from your staged changes.
Code in replies: Copy, Insert at cursor, Replace selection, or New file.
The AdamAI button in the editor's top-right corner (Ctrl+Alt+I) opens the chat; the status bar shows who you're signed in as.
Open Code Pro in the browser for full workspaces, GitHub sync and deploys.
Each model has its own daily Developer API allowance, separate from the app.
