Luna Foundry Copilot

Every meaningful piece of work is a climb. There is a summit worth standing on—a working product, a client delivery, a decision you can defend—and a trail between here and there. Fog rolls in. Side trails look easier. Gear multiplies. Without a shared story of the route, people get tired, tools disagree, and “almost there” never becomes the summit.

That is the Climb Notes way of seeing the world: mountain first, kit second. Name the peak. Walk Base Camp → route → checkpoints → summit push. Anyone should be able to follow the story of the climb without a dump of tools on page one.

Luna Foundry Copilot is that story, running where you already think: GitHub Copilot Chat. Five named companions in the agent picker. One pack of practices. The same climb language every day.

On the mountain you are not alone. Luna is your Sherpa. She does not carry you or replace your judgment. She brings guidelines, direction, tools, waypoints, and planning so the rope team stays coherent. Along the route she introduces a simple, memorable rhythm—MacroFlow—that maps to how real climbs feel:

  • Base Camp — Are we fit to leave? Gear, weather, rules of the mountain, who we are on this trip.
  • Route — One summit objective, clear success marks, what we are not climbing today.
  • Waypoint — Check the map. Stop, look around, recover if needed, then decide: hold or go.
  • Summit — The rope team moves: build, prove, bring evidence home—not just a story of the attempt.

What this listing gives you is that climb made real inside Copilot Chat:

  • Luna, Basecamp, Route, Climb, and Descent as custom agents — pick them from the Chat agent picker after Setup.
  • The MacroFlow skill pack on disk (.github/skills) so every agent speaks the same trail language.
  • Copilot CLI in the terminal — the same family as Grok Build: Copilot CLI (pwsh / bash) auto-starts the Copilot TUI; Copilot (pwsh / bash) is a clean shell (type copilot when you want it). Status bar Copilot CLI is the hub: open a terminal, official docs, Homebrew / WinGet / npm (this listing never pipes a remote installer).
  • One-click camp — Command Palette → Luna: Setup (GitHub Copilot) writes agents, skills, and Copilot instructions into this workspace (and backs up an existing .github).
  • A clean picker — by default, Copilot Chat custom agents in this workspace are Luna’s five (lunaFoundry.copilotOursOnly).
  • Technical Guides — Climb plus the content-creator skill turn markdown + diagrams into branded DOCX when Pandoc is on the machine.
  • Onboarding in the install — trail maps and support travel with the VSIX. You do not need GitHub or a clone to start.

You choose the mountain. Luna keeps the path human and the arrival undeniable.

After Setup

  1. Open Copilot Chat.
  2. Pick Basecamp or Luna from the agent picker.
  3. Stay on one agent (or one phase) per stretch of work.
  4. Want the terminal ridge? Command Palette → Luna: Install / Verify Copilot CLI → Open Copilot CLI (pwsh) or (bash).

You will still see VS Code’s built-in Ask / Edit / Agent modes — those are not custom agents. Luna’s five are.

Once for every climber: install this listing → open the project that is this climb → Luna: Setup (GitHub Copilot) → Set up. Then walk one complete MacroFlow turn with proof.

Requirements

  • VS Code (or a compatible host) with GitHub Copilot Chat signed in (Pro or your company’s seat).
  • A folder that is the climb (workspace root).

Onboarding ships inside this VSIX — open these files from the extension folder:

  • Copilot trail: docs/onboarding/02-github-copilot.md
  • Hub: docs/onboarding/README.md
  • Visual guide: docs/onboarding/VISUAL-GUIDE.md

Two listings, one camp

Luna Foundry Copilot is the Copilot Chat ridge: agents, skills, Setup, and the climb language in the editor you already live in.

The sister listing, Luna Foundry Multiagent, is the same camp with Grok Build as the primary ridge (TUI, plugin, optional Finish with Grok) plus Copilot / Cursor / Claude. Install one.

Self-contained: a Marketplace/VSIX install is enough. You do not need to clone this git repo. Setup and onboarding ship inside the extension.
