On Track

On Track gives you a clear, read-only view of your Codex work without making you switch between chats. It keeps active agents and subagents in VS Code's status bar, so you can quickly see what is running, how long it has been working, and which model is handling it. Finished subagents collect in one 🏁 Cleared · N item, and you can click a chat item whenever you want to open it. Reload VS Code after installing.

Privacy

On Track reads the local Codex session directory to display active agent threads and nested subagents in VS Code. It does not send session data or telemetry to any external service.

To preserve completed-chat states after a restart, On Track stores a small status cache in VS Code's local extension storage. It does not sell or otherwise share session data.
