This edition is entirely thanks to the fantastic work of the original author, Andreas Weber, and his vscode-httpyac extension. This fork adds features that can be contributed back to the original project, but with more active maintenance.
Uses httpyac (ZW edition) (@zerowiggliness/httpyac), including the QUERY request method, Kafka support, and the matchesFile / matchesJsonFile assertions. See the Kafka guide for usage details.
Quickly and easily send REST, SOAP, GraphQL or gRPC requests directly in Editor
Example
@user = doe
@password = 12345678
GET https://httpbin.org/basic-auth/{{user}}/{{password}}
Authorization: Basic {{user}}{{password}}
HttpYac extension uses the proxy settings of Visual Studio Code (http.proxy).
