HTTP Theme Fresh

A modern dark theme for HTTP/REST files with color-coded methods and intelligent syntax highlighting.

What It Does

HTTP request files can be hard to read when everything looks the same. This theme uses color to make methods and status codes instantly recognizable:

• Green for GET requests
• Cyan for POST requests
• Orange for PUT requests
• Red for DELETE requests
• Gray for PATCH requests

Status codes are color-coded too: green for 2xx, orange for 3xx, red for 4xx/5xx.

Installation

Search for "HTTP Theme Fresh" in the Extensions panel and install it. Then select it from your color theme picker.

What's Supported

Works with .http, .rest, and .api files. Recognizes all standard HTTP methods, status codes, headers, and variable syntax like {{token}}.

Compatible with REST Client, Thunder Client, and similar extensions.

VS Code 1.60.0 or newer.
