BitMagic

BitMagic is a Commander X16 Development Suite using Visual Studio Code or VSCodium. It offers the ability to develop applications for the X16 in a modern environment.

It includes a comprehensive 65c02 assembler, but also supports ca65 projects.

To help get you started there are some examples within the GitHub repo.

Please note only Windows and Linux are supported.
