Julia HPC Cool Gray

Julia HPC Cool Gray is a restrained, cool-gray light theme for Visual Studio Code. It is derived from Catppuccin Latte and replaces the warm neutral surfaces with a cleaner gray hierarchy suitable for long Julia and scientific-computing sessions.

Design

• Cool gray editor, sidebar, activity bar, panel, terminal, notebook, and widget surfaces.
• Low-saturation visual hierarchy with clear separation between working areas.
• Compatible with VS Code's automatic light/dark color-scheme switching.
• Works on Windows, macOS, Linux, VS Code for the Web, and remote workspaces.

Julia highlighting

The theme works with the official Julia extension. Additional Julia-specific TextMate and semantic-token customizations can be kept in a VS Code profile to distinguish user-defined functions from built-in functions.
