Open any .csv file directly as a sortable, filterable table — no imports, no
configuration, no heavyweight spreadsheet engine.
Built for the common case: a UTF-8, comma-separated file with up to a few
thousand rows that you just want to read. It renders the file in a webview
table inside VS Code and gets out of the way.
Features
Opens .csv as a table — associated by default, so a double-click is enough.
Per-column filters — columns with few distinct values get a checkbox
dropdown (multi-select, with counts); high-cardinality columns get a
"contains" text box. The mode is chosen per column automatically.
Global search — one box filters across every column and highlights matches.
Sorting — click a header to sort ascending/descending, right-click to clear.
Numeric columns sort numerically, so 2 comes before 10.
Resizable columns — drag any column edge. Widths can be shrunk well below
the content, and Reset restores the computed defaults.
Long fields stay readable — a multi-line cell (a stack trace, a JSON blob)
shows one line with a marker, and a double-click opens the full content in a
viewer with a copy button.
Proper CSV parsing — RFC 4180 style: quoted fields, escaped "", embedded
newlines and commas inside quotes, CRLF/LF/CR line endings, and a UTF-8 BOM.

If .csv files still open as plain text, set the association once
