Automatically applies folder-specific navbar colors when switching files in a multi-root workspace.

Features

  • Automatically changes VS Code navbar accents (title bar and status bar) per folder when active file changes.
  • Generates a random default navbar color for each workspace folder.

Requirements

  • Multi-root workspace with at least two folders.

Usage

  1. Open a multi-root workspace with at least two folders.
  2. Open files from different folders; Girgit applies folder colors automatically.
  3. Run Girgit: Set Folder Navbar Color to pick a custom color for a folder.
  4. Run Girgit: Reset Folder Navbar Colors to regenerate random colors.
