Use GitHub Copilot Chat to work on automotive wiring diagrams stored in
X/D Loom. Paste a diagram link or describe a circuit, then select the X/D Loom
agent to create or change the diagram.
What it can do
List and open diagrams from your X/D Loom account.
Create a diagram from a written circuit description.
Inspect components, terminals, and wires.
Add or update components and connections in an existing diagram.
Render the finished diagram and export it as a PNG or PDF.
Getting started
Install the extension and open GitHub Copilot Chat in VS Code.
Select the X/D Loom agent.
Paste an X/D Loom diagram link or describe the circuit you want to create.
Sign in to X/D Loom when VS Code asks you to authenticate.
Try prompts such as:
Add a fused relay circuit for a light bar to this diagram: <X/D Loom URL>
Open my latest diagram and check for incomplete connections.
The extension connects to X/D Loom through its authenticated MCP service. It
does not include your account token or diagram data.
