Weeble Workspace

Weeble Workspace connects your editor to projects hosted on Weeble.

Features

  • Open one deployment directly in the current folder.
  • Monitor deployment state and the active revision from one command center.
  • Build, cancel, retry, and deploy from the editor toolbar with live progress in Weeble Output.
  • Compare, restore, or activate earlier revisions without changing the live deployment accidentally.
  • Stream mapped runtime logs and create or edit KV entries directly in VS Code.
  • Search approved npm packages, request exact versions, and add reviewed dependency artifacts without running install scripts.
  • Receive SDK type updates directly in existing workspaces without reinstalling the extension.

Packages

Open Packages in the Weeble sidebar to manage installed dependencies, search approved versions, inspect recent approvals, or request an exact npm version. Adding a package updates package.json and downloads only the immutable artifacts approved by Weeble. Staff accounts also see the review queue, scan evidence, and approve, reject, and revoke actions.

Open the Command Palette and run Weeble: Sign In. Continue with the recommended browser approval, or choose Enter API key and paste a scoped key created in Weeble Settings. Keys are stored in VS Code secret storage.

First project

Open a folder, select the Weeble icon, and choose Select Deployment. The extension downloads that deployment's source directly into the folder. Selecting another deployment replaces only files managed by the previous selection after confirmation.

SDK updates

When newer SDK declarations are published, the extension offers an update in the notification area and shows the installed and available versions in the Overview. You can also run Weeble: Check for SDK Updates or Weeble: Update SDK from the Command Palette. The extension downloads from the configured weeble.apiUrl, verifies the release hash, updates only the hidden .weeble/types files, and restarts the TypeScript language service. Project source and dependencies are not changed.

Requirements

Desktop and browser installations use the authenticated Weeble build service.

Documentation and account management are available at weeble.works.
