Hooshyar is an AI coding agent for Visual Studio Code. It can inspect a workspace, propose and apply changes, run commands, and use configured MCP tools after your approval.
Getting started
Open the Hooshyar view from the Activity Bar.
Enter your Hooshyar API key in the onboarding screen.
Select a model and start a task.
Autopilot
Choose + ? Autopilot in the chat composer, or send /autopilot followed by your goal. Hooshyar plans the work, tracks tasks, implements changes, runs relevant checks, and updates documentation using your configured model and approval settings. See the Autopilot guide for details.
Privacy
Your API key is stored in VS Code Secret Storage. Requests are sent to the configured Hooshyar API provider.
