Zuntenium Code Prediction

VS Code extension — intelligent, evidence-based code completion for Zuntenium QuFlow.

Features

Tier What it does When it fires
Tier 1 Deterministic completions, hover docs, signature help, diagnostics — all validated against the real SDK API index Any .py file with zuntenium
Tier 2 Context-aware inline suggestions (22 QuFlow patterns with confidence scoring, abstain threshold 0.55) After a known token sequence
Snippets 5 verified templates: Bell state, QAOA Max-Cut, Workflow scaffold, Cloud Client, Adaptive Shots Type zq + Tab

Design principle

A wrong confident suggestion is worse than no suggestion.

All suggestions are validated against the API index. Unknown symbols + low confidence → silence.

Install

code --install-extension zuntenium-predict-0.1.0.vsix

Or install from the VS Code marketplace (once published).

Setup

  1. Open a Python project that uses zuntenium.
  2. The extension auto-detects your Python interpreter and loads the API index from the installed SDK.
  3. Regenerate the index after SDK updates:
python -m zuntenium.api_index # writes _api_index.json

Settings

Setting Default Description
zunteniumPredict.tier2.enabled true Enable Tier 2 inline completions
zunteniumPredict.diagnostics.enabled true Enable API-misuse diagnostics
zunteniumPredict.apiIndex.path "" Custom path to _api_index.json

Commands

  • Zuntenium: Toggle Predictions — enable/disable all completions
  • Zuntenium: Doctor — show SDK version, index status, interpreter info
