branch-switch README

This VSCode extension lets you save your tabs as you switch branches in git, allowing you to pick up right where you left off when returning to any particular branch!

Features

By default, this extension automatically saves your tabs for a branch when you switch off from it and it will automatically open those tabs when you switch back to it.

Extension Settings

Include if your extension adds any VS Code settings through the contributes.configuration extension point.

For example:

This extension contributes the following settings:

  • myExtension.enable: Enable/disable this extension.
  • myExtension.thing: Set to blah to do something.

Known Issues

Calling out known issues can help limit users opening duplicate issues against your extension.
