Getting Started

Prerequisites

• VS Code 1.90.0 or later
• A Google Gemini API key (get one here)

Setup

1. Install the extension from the VS Code Marketplace
2. Open the VPATH Agent sidebar (activity bar icon)
3. Enter your Gemini API key when prompted
4. Open or create .sysml / .kerml files to start modeling

Configuration

Privacy and Data Handling

• Your API key is stored locally and only sent to the Google Gemini API
• Chat messages are transmitted to the Google Gemini API for processing
• VPATHAI does not collect any telemetry or usage data
• The SysML v2 language server runs entirely locally
