How It Works

Time Stats monitors your activity in VS Code and stores the data in a local SQLite database. The extension:

  • Tracks idle time (activity pauses)
  • Records which files you're editing
  • Calculates time spent per programming language
  • Displays everything in a beautiful, interactive dashboard

Requirements

  • VS Code 1.85.0 or higher
