Introduction

Univer is a Visual Studio Code plugin that is built upon Univer. Univer serves as an open-source alternative to Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs.

📊 Univer Sheets

Sheets
Opened: cell styles, formulas. First quarter: conditional formatting, data validation, search and replace. Second quarter (tentative): floating pictures, filtering, sorting, annotations, charts, pivot tables, super tables (tables), shaped

Already open: ordered and unordered lists, paragraph settings, mixed graphics and text, multi-column/single column display in sections (tentative): hyperlinks, comments, tables, charts

Features

Create Excel File

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + P to open the command palette.
  2. Enter the command Univer Sheets in the editor.
  3. Press Ctrl + Enter to execute the command and create a new Excel file.

Create Word File

  1. Press Ctrl + Shift + P to open the command palette.
  2. Enter the command Univer Docs in the editor.
  3. Press Ctrl + Enter to execute the command and create a new Word file.

Read Excel File

  1. Select the Excel file with extensions .xls, .xlsx, or .xlsm.
  2. Right-click the file.
  3. Choose the Open with Univer option from the context menu.

Write Excel File

  1. Save changes by pressing Ctrl + S.
  2. If the file doesn't exist, it will be created automatically in the root path of your workspace.
  3. If the file already exists, it will be updated automatically.
