This extension allows to upload webresources into Dynamics 365/PowerApps.

Usage at own risk!

Features

  • Configure Dynamics Url and API-Version
  • Authenticate via O365 account via device code flow
  • Upload web resource via Explorer View
  • Add mapping to config file via Explorer View

Extension Settings

This extension contributes the following settings:

  • d365uploader.connection.d365url: Url to Dynamics Organization, e.g. https://.crm4.dynamics.com
  • d365uploader.connection.d365apiversion: API-Version, e.g. 9.0

How-To-Use

Configuration

In Settings serach for d365

  • Select available WebApi-Version
  • Set Dynamics Url
  • optional: set mapping file names. One is meant for manual changes, one is meant for generation purposes. E.g. generate files by entities

Add mapping via the context menu

Adjust mappings in the mapping file. For new web resources you need to specify the web resource name in Dynamics

Via context menu upload file

If not done yet, you need to authenticate against Dynamics. Click "Open" on authentication message. Code will be copied in clip board automatically

Paste code in form and authenticate.

Upload will continue afterwards.
