Themes

Thynaptic Dark (Base)
High-contrast neutral dark theme optimized for well-lit environments. Pure grayscale palette with strategic orange and red accents for syntax highlighting.

Thynaptic Dim (Base)
Softer contrast variant of Dark. Reduced brightness for low-light conditions and extended work sessions without sacrificing readability.

Thynaptic Sand (Base)
Warm light theme with natural paper-like aesthetics. Designed for users who prefer light backgrounds with subtle earth-tone palette.

Thynaptic Sand Dark
Dark variant of Sand theme. Maintains warm, sandy color philosophy while providing comfortable dark-mode experience.

Design Principles

Neutral-First Palette
All themes prioritize neutral colors for primary interface elements and syntax. Blue accent colors have been removed in favor of grayscale foundations.

Strategic Color Use
Orange (#FE9A00) for strings, numbers, and warnings. Red (#FF2056) for errors and critical indicators. All other elements use foreground neutrals.

Consistent Contrast
Optimized contrast ratios across all themes reduce eye strain while maintaining clear visual hierarchy for code structure.

Minimal Distraction
Clean, professional aesthetic aligned with Thynaptic brand identity. No unnecessary visual noise or competing color schemes.

Installation

1. Open Visual Studio Code
2. Navigate to Extensions view (Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X)
3. Search for "Thynaptic Color Themes"
4. Install the extension
5. Open Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P or Cmd+Shift+P)
6. Select "Preferences: Color Theme"
7. Choose your preferred Thynaptic theme
