About

Threatrix AICertify plugin detects AI-generated and copy/pasted open-source code and reports the provenance and licenses.

Requirements

A Threatrix AICertify or CodeCertify trial or subscription is required to use this plugin.

Configuration

Note: If you don't have a subscription, you can sign up for a free trial.

  1. In Threatrix, navigate to User -> Profile -> API Keys.
  2. Add a new API Key, select ROLE_ADMIN or ROLE_SUPERADMIN.
  3. Click Generate API Key to create.
  4. Copy the API key.
  5. In VS Code, go to: File -> Preferences -> Settings -> Extensions -> AICertify -> Add API Key.
  6. Paste the API key value into the associated field.
  7. Click Test Connection to test your API key.

Usage

Alerts for detected open source are only generated when:

  1. A Threatrix Compliance or Review policy type has been triggered.
  2. The policy contains an IDE Alert action.
