ASyncMaster
Fast-forward main or master for every Git repository in the workspace whose current branch is already main or master. Repositories update in parallel. A progress bar and a checkmark show each one as it finishes.
VS Code’s built-in Git pull updates the current branch of one repository at a time. Sync fast-forwards every workspace repository already on main or master, in parallel, and leaves the others alone.
Other branches (feature/…, develop, detached HEAD) are marked Skipped. Their main or master ref is left untouched, and the extension does not switch branches.

English
Use
- Open a folder or a multi-root workspace that contains Git repositories.
- Run ASyncMaster: Sync from the Command Palette, or Sync in the ASyncMaster view.
- The bar advances as each repository finishes. A row moves from Running to Done with a checkmark, or to Skipped / Error.
Only a fast-forward is accepted (git fetch, then git merge --ff-only). A diverged history, a missing origin, or a working tree that blocks the merge stays an error. The other repositories continue.
Cancel stops the Git commands that are still running.
Command output is in the ASyncMaster output channel.
The interface follows the VS Code display language: French when it starts with fr, English otherwise.
Requirements
- VS Code 1.85 or newer
- Git on
PATH
- A trusted workspace. The extension fetches and updates repositories, so it stays disabled in Restricted Mode.
