Installation

  1. Open VS Code.
  2. Navigate to the Extensions view (Ctrl+Shift+X or Cmd+Shift+X).
  3. Search for Taskifier.
  4. Click Install.

Quick Start

Getting started with Taskifier is incredibly easy. Open your terminal and run:

t login
↓
Select Personal Mode
↓
t start
↓
t update
↓
t submit

Using Prompt Beautifier

Taskifier includes a powerful built-in tool to instantly improve and format your prompts before sending them to AI. You can access it in two ways:

1. Directly in the Text Editor (Right-Click):

  • Highlight any text inside your code editor.
  • Right-click the highlighted text.
  • Select Taskifier Prompt Beautifier from the context menu.
  • A Side-by-Side Diff Editor will open, allowing you to review, regenerate, or replace your text seamlessly.

2. From the Taskifier Dashboard (Personal Mode):

  • Open the Taskifier extension sidebar.
  • Ensure you are logged into Personal Mode.
  • The sidebar will display a dedicated Prompt Beautifier widget where you can paste, beautify, and copy your optimized prompts entirely within the panel.

Commands

Taskifier offers a globally accessible CLI (t) to interact with your workspace:

AI Support

Taskifier allows you to bring your own AI to power your updates. You can configure your favorite AI provider using:

Note: Your API keys remain securely stored on your local machine and are never uploaded.
